And this is why you DONT cheep out on suspension pars.
Its your safety people. Those $40 arms (ones on bottom) weigh more then the Skunk2 ones, even though they are thinner. The metal quality and build quality of these absolutely can not stand up to the real deal.
The bushings are not even in the right spots in the cheep arms, as the sizing is off forcing you to use washers to fill the gaps on the shock forks.
These bushings gave out on my friend after only 3 weeks causing unsafe suspension movement and noise. I had to set him on the right track and now that he the Skunk2 ones installed he’s never going back.
Be smart people, spend your money wisely. Quality parts will last you longer, and in the end its your SAFTEY more then anything else.Note: Pink color on S2 bushings is from Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease. Make sure you use only synthetic greece on polly bushings. Petroleum based products will crack/damage your bushings.
For those who think cheap parts will do you good. That’s why I buy the real deal on everything.
